Raffle Drawing Update

An update for you on our raffle drawing that was supposed to take place on December 15:

We will be holding the drawing on January’s First Friday at 7:00 p.m. If you missed the original posting, I will repeat it here.

Two large clay vessels donated by the artist Ed Gray/Jikiwe, and valued at $950 each. There are 100 tickets available at $20 a piece. The drawing will be held on December 15.

This raffle will benefit the Calumet Art Centers’ ongoing programs.

This first vessel is entilted “Dragonfly”; it is 18″ tall and 15.5″ wide. The second vessel is called “Wild Rice” and is 22″ tall and 11.5″ wide.

Continue where we left off in Session I, learn the more advanced techniques. These sessions will allow the student to go on and accomplish what they wish in clay.

Private Classes on the Potter’s Wheel with Ed Gray
Set up your private class with Ed Gray in a one on one session. Whether you are a beginner or advanced with the potter’s wheel, Ed offers two hour sessions to fit your time frame. Each two hour session is $35 plus the cost of clay. The cost of clay, dates and times will be determined between Ed and the student.

First Friday

Join us this First Friday in Calumet! We will be holding an open house from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. where you can enjoy our youngest students art work on display: paintings, weaving, shadow puppets, etc. Our Great Inspirations students and instructors have been truly busy. Find your inspiration while touring our weaving, glass bead making and clay studios. Your winter “wonderland” can be more “wonder”full by signing up for a class!
