Fourth Thursday in History: All the News that’s Fit to Sing: Verses from the 1913-14 Copper Strike Newspapers

Gearing up for tomorrow night’s event???? The historic program for the Fourth Thursday in History lecture will give us a rare glimpse of the songs and poems published in our local newspapers (several compared to today!) at the time of the 1913-1914 strike. All sides used these as a means to rally both morale and solidarity. Step into “the way back machine” with the 1913 Singers!

Where: Calumet Art Center (corner of Red Jacket Road and Fifth Street) at 7:00 p.m. This presentation is FREE to the public!
