Upcoming Music Events at the Calumet Art Center
SECOND ANNUAL FALL BENEFIT CONCERT: Remember to reserve October 16, 2010 on your calendar for an upcoming special event at the Calumet Art Center. This will be a performance of musical favorites, featuring:

The evening begins at 7 pm in the beautiful performance hall of the Calumet Art Center. Come and enjoy a perfect fall evening, and hear the music you’ve been requesting.
NOVEMBER: On November 12, (time to be determined), Jym Mooney & Carol Lee Hopkins bring a collection of delightful original songs and old favorites to our stage. Working in the folk tradition, they sing of family, friendship, love, and life. You may find yourself deeply moved by their thoughtful songs, and then in turn be struck sharply in your funny bone by one of their lighter numbers. Bring your friends and family for an entertaining and rewarding evening with Jym and Carol Lee.
Violin Lessons
Beginning this fall, the Copper Country Suzuki Association will be offering violin lessons to students ages 6 and up at the Calumet Arts Center on Thursday afternoons. No previous experience is necessary, and beginners are encouraged to enroll. Only a limited number of spaces are available so please register early.
The Copper Country Suzuki Association provides professional, affordable instruction and creates performance opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. Scholarships are available. Member benefits include: Private Lessons, Group Classes, Orchestra and Chamber, Ensembles, Parent Classes, Instrument Rental, Recitals and Community performances.
